FAQ
Which PCBs are supported?
Most Crazy Kong boards built on Falcon-style hardware (Falcon, Alca, Jeutel, Orca, and compatible clones). Variants on Scramble/Galaxian/other hardware aren’t supported.
How do I switch between games?
Use the on-screen Game Select menu. You can also choose any title as the default boot game in the kit’s settings.
Does the kit save high scores for each game?
Yes. High scores are stored per game, so each title keeps its own table.
Is Free-Play supported?
Yes. Enable Free-Play in the menu. Coin play remains supported if you prefer.
Can I still run my original PCB ROMs?
Yes. Your original ROMs remain playable even with the multigame kit installed.
Do I need a socketed Z80 CPU?
Yes. The kit plugs into the Z80 socket. If your Z80 is soldered, desolder it and install a 40-pin socket first.
Why do my colors look different from the screenshots?
Some Crazy Kong boards use alternate color PROMs or palettes (e.g., green girders). The kit won’t change inherent palette differences on your board.
What new gameplay elements are included?
Remix adds blue hammer jumping, collapsing floors and crushable fireballs on Rivets, reversible elevators on Rivets 3, restored six-elevator behavior, and a new kill screen.
