A high score save kit that remembers the top 10 scores and initials for Battlezone when the game is powered off. No batteries required. Doubles as a "ROM Saver", no more messing around with old faulty sockets. THIS VERSION HAS NO ATTRACT SOUNDS, ONLY THE HIGHSCORESAVES.COM VERSION DOES. HEAR WHAT YOU'RE MISSING WITH THE OTHER KIT! No special wiring or soldering is required. Simply remove the 6502 CPU chip from your Battlezone board, insert the 6502 CPU chip into the daughter card (pictured right) and then plug the daughter card into the vacated 6502 CPU socket on the board. High scores and initials can easily be cleared out at any time by putting the game into selftest and pressing both the start button and fire button at same time. Kit installs in just minutes. No board modifications or special wiring is required. Special high quality gold plated machined header pins on daughter card. Provides a perfect mate with your Battlezone CPU socket. Simply put the game into self test (using the cabinet self test switch). Once in self test mode, press (and hold) the start button and the fire button. The screen will immediately show "ERASED" indicating the high scores have been cleared out. This is a similar procedure used by other Atari games.
