HighScoreSaves Single-Game Kits
HighScoreSaves single-game kits are designed for a specific original arcade game and compatible PCB. Depending on the title, available features may include Free Play, battery-free high score and initials saving, attract-mode sound, settings menus, diagnostics, screen orientation options, and other game-specific adjustments.
These kits retain the original arcade PCB, processor, controls, sound, and core gameplay while adding the features listed on the individual product page.
HighScoreSaves Multigame Kits
HighScoreSaves multigame kits add multiple supported games, related titles, or game variations to compatible original arcade hardware. Available games are selected through a game-selection menu, and the included titles and features vary by product.
Because multigame kits add additional titles or configurations, they should not be treated as identical to a dedicated single-game upgrade. Review the game list, controls, PCB requirements, and installation guide for the exact multigame kit being considered.
Remix and Rearranged Game Products
Remix and rearranged products provide alternate stages, layouts, challenges, or newly arranged versions of compatible classic arcade games. They are intended to expand the available gameplay rather than simply add score saving to the original title.
Some Remix products may include the original game alongside the additional version, while others have product-specific requirements or options. Refer to the individual listing for the exact included games and supported hardware.
Braze Technologies Kits
Braze Technologies kits are separate third-party arcade upgrade designs offered for selected compatible games. Features, score capacity, Free Play support, menu operation, installation requirements, and available game options differ by Braze product.
Use the individual Braze product description and installation guide as the source for that kit’s exact capabilities. HighScoreSaves-specific menu, Wi-Fi, and Tips and Tricks instructions should not be assumed to apply to Braze products.
Standard and Wi-Fi-Enabled HighScoreSaves Kits
HighScoreSaves kits store supported scores, initials, and settings locally on the kit without a battery. Selected products are also available with optional Wi-Fi support for uploading qualifying scores to the HighScoreSaves Global Wi-Fi High Score Network.
Wi-Fi-enabled kits use 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi when configured. Local score and settings storage continues to operate when Wi-Fi is disabled or unavailable.
Compatibility and Installation
These upgrades are designed for specific original arcade games, processors, and PCB revisions. Converted boards, bootlegs, reproduction PCBs, and emulation-based systems may not be compatible unless the product description specifically says otherwise.
Most HighScoreSaves kits install at the original PCB’s processor socket, with the original processor transferred to the daughterboard. If the processor is soldered directly to the arcade PCB, professional socket installation may be required before the kit can be fitted. Multigame, Remix, rearranged, and Braze products may use different installation methods.
Confirm the game title, manufacturer, processor, PCB revision, and required installation steps before purchasing.
Choosing the Correct Arcade Upgrade Kit

HighScoreSaves single-game kits, multigame kits, Remix and rearranged products, and Braze Technologies kits are separate types of upgrades. Confirm the exact product type, supported hardware, included games, features, and installation method before ordering.
Converted boards, reproduction PCBs, bootlegs, and emulation-based systems may not be compatible unless the individual product description specifically identifies them as supported.
Installation Overview
Most HighScoreSaves single-game kits install at the original arcade PCB’s main processor socket. The original CPU is carefully removed from the game board, installed on the daughterboard, and then connected back to the original CPU socket.
When the original processor is already socketed, the kit installation normally does not require soldering. If the processor is soldered directly to the PCB, a qualified technician may need to remove it and install a socket before the kit can be fitted.
Multigame kits, Remix and rearranged products, and Braze Technologies kits may use different processors, adapters, daughterboards, ROM locations, or installation methods. Always follow the product-specific installation guide.

Installation Guides and Technical Support
HighScoreSaves provides game-specific installation guides for supported products whenever documentation is available. Guides may include original PCB photographs, processor locations, Pin 1 orientation, board preparation, installation steps, settings information, and troubleshooting notes.
Review the matching guide before removing a processor, ROM, or other component. Work in a clean, static-safe area and disconnect all power before handling the arcade PCB.
Technical support is available for compatibility and installation questions. Clear photographs of the complete original PCB, processor area, board numbers, and any existing modifications are especially helpful when confirming hardware or troubleshooting an installation.
