A must get kit
This Darksoft CPS-2 Multigame Kit runs games on original hardware, not emulation, by loading your CPS-2 titles via microSD. Installation requires removing original ROMs from the B-board, but once set up your selected game persists in flash until you change it.

This 4-wire harness bridges the multi’s J18 header (next to the microSD slot) to the B-board’s key connector—so you can use original, untouched ROM sets as supported by the Champion Edition firmware. What It Does Connects the kit’s 6-pin J18 header to your CPS2 B-board key connector. Implements the key-writing lines DATA, CLOCK, SETUP1, and SETUP2. Approx. 6″ overall length for easy routing inside the shell. Compatibility Works with Darksoft CPS2 Champion Edition units (firmware supports original ROM sets). Connector location varies by B-board revision: Revisions 93646B-5, 93646B-6, 93646B-7, 97691A-3 Use the on-board CN9 key connector (no soldering required). Easily protect and seat your LCD screen inside the back of the housing and then snap the front of the case on.
