The Tron | Satan's Hollow Multigame Free Play and High Score Save Kit combines two classic Bally Midway games on compatible original arcade hardware while adding permanent score saving, Free Play, expanded scoring, and menu-driven configuration.
The upgrade also provides adjustable attract sounds, Backup and Restore, Reset support, Stealth Mode, ROM Saver functionality, selectable Satan's Hollow shield controls, and optional online leaderboard support.
Compatibility and What to Check Before Ordering
- Hardware: Designed for documented compatible original Bally Midway Tron arcade PCBs.
- Processor: Requires a compatible Z80 processor.
- Processor Socket: The required Z80 location must have a compatible 40-pin socket for normal installation.
- Cabinets: Supports documented upright and cabaret cabinet configurations.
- ROM Saver: Original program ROMs may be removed as supported by the kit.

Game Selection and Settings Menu Access
The Player 1 Start button is used to access supported HighScoreSaves multigame and configuration functions.
- Select a Game: During attract mode, hold Player 1 Start for approximately four seconds to enter the supported game-selection menu.
- Open the Settings Menu: Power the cabinet off, hold Player 1 Start, power the cabinet back on, and release the button when prompted.

Tron and Satan's Hollow each maintain their own separate Top 10 supported high score table.
The kit also expands supported scoring to eight digits, allowing scores up to 99,999,999 without rolling over at 999,999.
Backup and Restore functionality provides a way to preserve supported score data before events, maintenance, transport, or other service work.
Satan's Hollow Shield Control Options
Satan's Hollow uses a shield function that can be mapped to different available cabinet controls through the HighScoreSaves menu.
Supported shield activation options include:

Free Play, Attract Sounds, Reset, and Stealth Mode
Free Play allows supported games to start without inserting coins while traditional Coin-Up operation remains available when desired.

Stealth Mode can boot directly into the last played or selected game, providing a more direct startup experience when desired.
Installation Notes
- Z80 Processor Required: The kit requires a compatible Z80 processor on supported original Bally Midway hardware.

- No Soldering on a Properly Socketed PCB: No soldering is required for normal kit installation when the required CPU location is already socketed.

Perfect upgrade
This kit worked exactly as advertised and was a great addition to my original Tron/Satan's Hollow PCB. Installation was straightforward thanks to the detailed instructions, and everything fired up on the first try. Free play is a great feature, but the high score save is what really makes the upgrade worthwhile. It's nice not losing scores every time the machine is powered off.
The kit is well made, fits cleanly without modifying the original board, and has been completely reliable. Shipping was quick, packaging was excellent, and support answered my compatibility questions before I ordered. If you own a Tron or Satan's Hollow arcade machine and want to preserve the original hardware while adding modern convenience, I highly recommend

This is an ingenious way to be able to play Satans Hollow in your Tron cabinet. All of the features you have come to expect from Highscoresaves.com kits are present as well.
