Multigame support for the Q*bert family, with menu or direct-boot options. Keep original gameplay while adding modern conveniences like Free Play, persistent high scores, attract sounds, and menu-driven DIP settings.
Features
- Easy install: No soldering, board modifications, or special wiring—plug in and go.
- Boot options: Start at the Game Menu or boot directly into Qbert, Qubes, FHMC, Mello Yello, or 7-Eleven variants.
- Save your scores forever: Uses a serial EEPROM (not failure-prone NVRAM or batteries).
- High Score Save: Qbert saves Top 23; Qubes saves Top 20 (Supreme Nosers), or Top 20 (Supreme Nosers Elite if selected).
- Attract sounds: Enable at 25%, 50%, or 100% of attract-screen rotations.
- Free Play: Start games without coins—even in Qubes.
- Coin Up: Coins/tokens still supported; both coin slots behave the same in credit mode.
- Attract mode: Reduce screen burn—no more static screens.
- Menu-driven DIP settings: Change settings on-screen—no cabinet pull-out.
- ROM Saver: Optionally remove original program ROMs to save power.
